It takes an investment of time and money but it is well worth the investment as it is a time to "unplug" from our fast-paced world and take opportunity for spiritual refreshment from God in His Word! Around the theme "How Great Is Our God", this year was no exception! It was a powerful week of challenge as we focused on our Creator God!
There is also a lot of fun in a week of camp! From lasertag to rock climbing, from the incredible zipline to the big swing, from mini-golf to basketball...there was swimming, hiking and much more!

There's definitely more to life than a temporary adrenaline high or fun activity, but I love some of the extreme sports for two reasons! 1. Because they allow you to enjoy some of God's best creations in an awesome way...and 2. Because it's good practice at getting out of our safe bubbles of routine. It's good practice of swallowing fear and embracing courage. That's important when God calls you to step out of the boat like Peter, or to witness to someone passing by like Phillip did, or to go where God is calling you like Abraham!
