Awesome 80's Skate Night! We rented out the Marysville Skate Inn for an 80’s Skate Night! Many hit the thrift store to find some great 80’s clothes and it was hilarious some of the outfits! Prizes were awarded to the best costumes! Great times! Check out the pics!
The AFLC Family Bible Camp is a fun and exciting week of worship, outdoor recreation and fellowship. This is the only time during the year that we are able to partake in consecutive days of "Special Meetings" or "Revival Services" . The theme of this years worship services is: "Illuminate!" Well, by all indications...or mainly one...the ultrasound showed pretty conclusively that a little boy is on the way. Summer and I went to Everett for the ultrasound on Tuesday, April 14th, not sure what to expect but excited to find out who was on the way. I (Luke) have always referred to it as "he", not because I was decided that it was going to be a boy...but just because I could until proven otherwise.
At Mission Viejo High School in California, the biggest bully in class was the one leading it. James Corbett, a teacher with over 20 years experience in Capistrano, refused to keep his hostility toward religion a secret. As other students would attest, it was not at all uncommon for him to lash out at students who supported creationism, calling it "religious superstitious nonsense."
So we've heard all about the "Swine Flu" that is going around. Well, here is some practical advice on the subject! I felt it was important to share... because I sure don't want this going around our neighborhood and families!!
A lot of work went into an amazing Easter production again this year directed by Summer Long! Countless hours were invested by soloists, choir members, actors, orchestra members, costume and prob builders, set constructors and sound and media techs!
The program was presented on Easter weekend with over 500 people attending between three services!
